Srinagar: The Regional Transport Officer (RTO) Kashmir has mandated that all three-wheeler passenger autos must install and use fare meters by July 31, 2024. Failure to comply will result in the cancellation of their fitness certificates. In an official communication, RTO Kashmir, Syed Shahnawaz Bukhari, highlighted that many three-wheeler passenger autos are operating in the city either without fare meters or with fare meters that are not in use.
