A crash involving a number of vehicles has sparked a large emergency response this afternoon. Police and ambulance crews have been called to the scene of the collision on the A28 Canterbury Road near Sarre. Real-time traffic data provider Inrix is reporting that Island Road is shut in both directions between The Glen and the A253.
