The European Union has placed top Hamas military officers on its terror list, according to the EU Official Journal, a register of EU laws, on Friday. Mohammed Deif, commander of the armed wing of Hamas, as well as Marwan Issa have been placed on the list. Both men are regarded as Hamas leaders and masterminds of the unprecedented massacre in Israel on October 7 which killed more than 1,200 people and led to around 240 others being taken hostage.
