In the fight against organized hashish trafficking, police in Copenhagen are introducing a so-called stricter penalty zone for sales in and around the alternative commune of Christiania. The zone will initially apply for six months from midday on Wednesday to July 10, police in the Danish capital said on Monday. The aim is to prevent crime and ensure the safety of residents.
