Tokyo stocks rose Tuesday morning, with the Nikkei index setting an all-time high, led by strong gains in technology issues after a record close of the tech-heavy Nasdaq index overnight. The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average rose 606.10 points, or 1.49 percent, from Monday to 41,386.80, well above the previous record intraday high of 41,112.24 set on Monday. The broader Topix index was up 17.76 points, or 0.62 percent, at 2,885.37.
