A couple due to climb the largest mountain in Africa next week has raised over £20,000 for charity. Paddy Whur, captain of Norwood Park Gold Club chose Newark Beaumond House Hospice and the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance to raise for this year. His wife, Jacquie will be lady captain next year and jumped on board with her husband to complete three charitable treks. Next week, the couple will fly to Africa to attempt to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, which they are aiming to complete in a week.
