The Israeli army successfully intercepted “a suspicious aerial target” that crossed from Lebanon, it said on Friday, adding that its artillery struck several targets after the pro-Iranian Hezbollah movement claimed a serious of attacks. “A number of launches were identified from Lebanon toward IDF [Israel Defense Forces] posts in the border areas … IDF artillery struck the source of the fire and additional targets in Lebanon,” the army said.
