Authorities in Essex County are investigating a shooting that left one man dead Thursday night, officials said. Newark police responded to multiple calls of shots fired on the 400 block of 14th Avenue just before 7 p.m. Thursday, authorities said Friday. Officers found Cyrano Green, 22, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound, the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office said.
