Three German men and one woman were given suspended sentences of two years each on Monday for assaulting a television crew on the fringes of a “lateral thinkers” demonstration in Berlin almost four years ago. The four were found guilty of causing grievous bodily harm. The 28 to 34-year-olds must also each pay a fine of €5,000 ($5,484) within a year.
