Video footage has captured the moment a speeding driver appeared to attempt to race a marked police car before being stopped and apologising. The Ford Focus driver had reached speeds of 56mph in a 30mph zone and went through a red light in Crayford High Street, near Dartford at around 3am on Saturday (April 6). Bodycam footage shows the motorist speeding along Roman Way, near the Sainsbury’s petrol station with police behind him.
