A cloudy, cooler day with periods of rain awaits New Jersey on Thursday with unsettled weather likely to continue through Mother’s Day weekend. Though the threat of severe weather has diminished significantly, some showers are likely to push in sometime between late morning and early afternoon, forecasters say.
