A busy A-road is blocked in both directions after a car transporter lorry crashed into a bridge. The vehicle struck the railway bridge on the A26 Eridge Road, Tunbridge Wells at around 4.15pm this afternoon. An eyewitness told KentOnline: “The impact was so severe that a car that was on the top deck of the transporter came completely off the lorry and landed on the road under the bridge.” The car can be seen overturned in the road.
