Nothing has changed. Thankfully, Wednesday night saw no further outbreaks of the lawless and inexcusable rioting that has plagued our nation in recent days, but it’s far too early to say if the chaos of late has disappeared for good. My fear is that it hasn’t, because I firmly believe that the deep-rooted reasons that lay behind much of this criminal uprising remain, and our politicians seem unwilling or unable to recognise these problems, and therefore, they are not about to confront the issues.
