An energy company has launched a public consultation on its proposal to construct a renewable energy storage facility near Tadley. British Solar Renewables (BSR Energy) hopes to build an 115MW (megawatt) battery storage development on land north of Frog Lane, just south of Silchester. The facility will enable energy from renewables, like solar and wind, to be stored and then released when the power is needed most.
