Liverpool look like they’re getting closer to appointing Ruben Amorim as Jurgen Klopp’s successor. The Sporting manager had looked like one of the favourites for the job ever since Klopp announced his surprise departure in January. And having seen Xabi Alonso take himself out of consideration, Amorim has since emerged as the leading candidate for the Reds.
