Local children’s author Larry Hayes has been shortlisted for one of the biggest awards in children’s books for his comedy sci-fi: How to Survive Time Travel. Past winners of the Scholastic Laugh Out Loud Book Awards include David Walliams, David Baddiel and Liz Pichon’s Tom Gates.
