Newbury Building Society has officially reopened its refurbished branch in Thatcham. The branch, which has been a fixture of Thatcham’s town centre since 1979, has been extended and modernised to include a larger banking hall with extra seating, a sofa area, increased counter space and private rooms for customer appointments. The refurbishment, completed by specialist design firm Morgan Lovell, is the fourth in a series of planned improvements to the society’s 10 branches located throughout Berkshire, Hampshire and Oxfordshire.
