A church is raising funds to repair its spire so that its bells to ring again. St Wendreda’s Church in March needs the community and public help to raise much-needed funds to repair the spire. The tie bars on the bells right at the top of the spire and the stonework around the tie bars have corroded and need to be restored. Bells have not been able to be rung since January 2023 which for the church means that they have not been able to use them for weddings and special events and the bell ringers are unable to practice.
