Todd Boehly has had some very important roles at Chelsea since his consortium and Clearlake Capital took over the club. In the summer of 2022, Todd Boehly acted as interim sporting director, while today he is currently Chelsea‘s chairman. Boehly is, of course, no longer sporting director, with Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart now sharing that role. And if Clearlake had it there way, the American would not be chairman either.
