A council leader was threatened with formal action during a tumultuous meeting after her call for Cambridgeshire’s under-fire mayor to resign was dismissed. Mayor Dr Nik Johnson called on Cllr Anna Bailey to retract public comments that had “cast aspersions” against him as a practising doctor.
