A key Sunderland man was once again on his top game in the 2-2 draw against Coventry City. Sunderland were somewhat masters of their own downfall as they threw away a 2-0 lead at the Stadium of Light to a managerless Coventry City. The Black Cats went ahead courtesy of a lovely goal by Wilson Isidor to chip it over the Coventry shot-stopper, and that was topped by a true wonderstrike by Dennis Cirkin, who struck it sweetly from 30-yards-out.
