Manchester United players returned for pre-season training on July 8 with a view to being ready for the first game of the pre-season on July 15 against Rosenborg in Norway. There is an intense schedule awaiting United, with the trip to Norway followed by a game in Scotland and then a trip to the USA where United play three games in a week.
