Snooker legends Jimmy White and John Virgo cued up an evening of sporting fun at Stansted Social Club. Jimmy ‘The Whirlwhind’ White – a nickname he earned for his swift pace of play – returned to the Lower Street venue on Friday evening (March 29) having previously opened the revamped snooker rooms back in 2021. This time he was joined at the baize by former professional John Virgo, now a TV commentator on the game who is also renowned for his amusing impressions of fellow players.
