It’s hard to disagree that Liverpool’s academy should have produced a little more over the past 20 years or so. Since the days of Steven Gerrard, Jamie Carragher, Robbie Fowler, Michael Owen and the rest, the well has run all too dry. One huge exception that is of course Trent Alexander-Arnold.
