A busy road is set to be closed every night for more than four weeks. Major resurfacing works have started on the A228 Snodland Bypass, between Ham Hill (Leybourne Lakes) roundabout and Peter’s Bridge roundabout. The works started on Tuesday (May 7) and will last until Sunday June 9. A team will be working between 9pm and 5am. Outside of these hours the road will be open as normal. Kent County Council (KCC) says it will be removing the existing surface using a method called milling.
