In South Notts League Division D, Farndon CC enjoyed a winning start to their 2024 season as they comfortably beat Attenborough Third XI. The First XI took 16 points from a 72-run home victory. The hosts lost the toss and were put into bat but were given a strong start by openers Martyn Hill, who struck a rapid 40 from 25 balls, and Jason Lam (23).
