Tennessee running back Dylan Sampson headed back to the locker room early before halftime after suffering an apparent ankle injury vs. Mississippi State. Sampson went down after his left leg appeared to bend in an awkward position after a hit late in the second quarter. The Volunteers star remained on the ground for several moments and grabbed at his leg while trainers tended to him. He eventually got off and was able to walk to the sideline under his own powers.
