TAMPA, Fla. \- Tampa Police are actively investigating a homicide that occurred at Copeland Park earlier this evening. An adult black male in his early 20s was fatally shot following a verbal altercation that escalated into a physical fight. The incident took place at 7:16 PM when officers responded to reports of a shooting at the park. Upon arrival, they discovered the victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
