By bno – Mumbai Office Pune-based Suzlon Group, a renewable energy solutions provider, has secured India’s largest wind energy order, totalling 1.17 GW, from NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), the renewables arm of state-owned energy conglomerate NTPC Limited, the company announced in a stock exchange filing on September 9. Suzlon will install 370 wind turbine generators (WTGs) of the S144 model, each with a Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) tower and a rated capacity of 3.15 MW.
