Two climate protesters glued themselves to the tarmac next to a private jet parked at the airport on the German resort island of Sylt on Saturday. The two women, from the group Last Generation, had also been planning to spray-paint the slogan “Oil kills” onto the aircraft, but they were prevented from doing so by airport staff, the group said. The activists managed to breach the airport fence after cutting a hole into it. A third protester was arrested by police at the fence.
