Maidstone have added to their ranks before the opening game of the National League South season. They’ve signed attacking midfielder Jon Benton on loan from Midlands outfit Solihull Moors. He could make his debut at St Albans this afternoon as Maidstone get their league campaign under way. Benton, 23, started last season at Aveley and was part of the Millers side who won 1-0 at the Gallagher in September.
