Hansa Rostock forward Junior Brumado was sent off in Sunday’s second division match against Schalke, half an hour after a foul on Schalke’s Blendi Idrizi. The long delay came because the match was stopped shortly after the incident when fans started fighting in the stands and the teams were sent into the dressing room. Brumado was originally booked but when play was about to commence half an hour later the video assistant intervened. Referee Nicolas Winter withdrew the yellow card and showed Brumado a straight red for elbowing Idrizi in the face after checking the incident.
