Two young riders took part in the Annual Isle of Man youth/junior two-day stage race. The event attracts more than 265 entrants covering 11 age catogories (8-17 years). Charlie Hoyle, racing for the Shibden Apex race team, finished 23rd overall with placings of 24th on stage one and 14th on stage two in the junior boys’ category. Southwell’s Stanley Russell, racing for Newark Castle Cycling Club, finished 26th overall with placings of 30th on stage one and 24th on stage two in the under-14 boys’ category race.
