Spain’s opposition conservative People’s Party (PP) has taken top spot in the European elections, securing 34.18% after almost all the votes were counted, according to the electoral commission. The PP increased its support from 20.15% in 2019. Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez’s socialist PSOE was second on 30.19%, down from 32.86% five years ago.
