Ecuadorian police have arrested 70 suspects in the fight against criminal gangs, authorities said on Wednesday, a day after gunmen stormed the set of a television station during a live broadcast. Firearms, ammunition, explosives, incendiary devices and vehicles were also seized during operations throughout the country, the police announced.
