Russian doctors have published an open letter to Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin demanding medical treatment for war opponent Alexei Gorinov, who has fallen ill in custody. The letter, which more than 100 Russian doctors had signed by midday on Sunday, states that the denial of medical assistance violates the Russian constitution. Gorinov, a local Moscow politician, is the first opponent of the war to be convicted in Russia on charges of discrediting the Russian army.
