DETROIT — There was a lot that went on during Saturday’s Red Wings game and most it wasn’t good for the Wings. The Wings lost, 5-1, to Ottawa, but in the larger scheme of things there were more significant issues for the Wings. Captain Dylan Larkin was injured in the first period on a scary play that resulted in Larkin laying motionless on the ice before slowly getting to his knees and gingerly skating off the ice.
