The Chinese Football Association has banned 43 players and functionaries for life for illegal gambling and match-fixing. Among those banned were former national team players such as Jin Jingdao, as well as South Korean Son Jun Ho, the association announced in Dalian on Tuesday. Son, who played for the Chinese first division club Shandong Taishan, was said to have been involved in illegal transfers and match-fixing, among other things.
