Russia’s powerful FSB security agency claimed on Wednesday to have foiled two Ukraine-sponsored attacks against the military in Russia. An FSB statement said that a 30-year-old Russian citizen had been recruited as an assassin by Ukrainian military intelligence in May. In return for payment, he was to send explosive devices disguised as gifts to three high-ranking officers using courier services.
