East Herts Council has installed Airscan monitors at pollution blackspots in Bishop’s Stortford and Sawbridgeworth. The sites, like Gascoyne Way in Hertford, are air quality management areas (AQMAs) where the maximum annual average level of nitrogen dioxide (NO2) concentration of 40 micrograms in each cubic metre of air (µg/m³) has been breached.
