A man who followed a woman home, held a knife to her back and sexually assaulted her in front of her infant child was convicted by an Essex County jury on Friday. Kervin Joseph-Michel, 43, of Newark, was found guilty of kidnapping, aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault, aggravated assault, endangering the welfare of a child and criminal restraint, the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office said.
