About 280 apartment units were evacuated and dozens of residents were displaced in Edison after ceilings collapsed at the Evergreen Meadow apartment complex on White Birch Road, Mayor Sam Joshi said Friday. “We’re all hands on deck and are working on hotel accommodations until this issue is resolved,” Joshi said in a Facebook post Friday.
