A pub has closed its doors temporarily while it undergoes a six-figure facelift. The Wateringbury in Tonbridge Road, Wateringbury, near Maidstone, has been shut since Monday when a major renovation began. Owner Greene King has decided to invest in the 90-year-old building to give the inside a complete makeover. The work will also include some changes to the garden area.
