Gang of bandits have again stormed Zurmi town, the headquarters of Zurmi Local Government Area of Zamfara State, with the aim of abducting the Emir, Alhaji Bello Mohammed Bunu. A resident of the area, Mallam Mustapha Muhammad Zurmi told DAILY POST in a telephone interview that the monarch could not be kidnapped as he was escorted to Gusau by security operatives when the bandits recently unleashed an attack on the town.
