Part of the A34 through West Berkshire will be closed this weekend. The road is shut in both directions between East Ilsley and Chieveley from 9pm tonight (Friday) until 6am on Monday (May 13). The closure is to allow National Highways to carry out resurfacing of the carriageway. A diversion is in place but motorists have been warned that it could add up to 50 minutes onto journeys.
