The liberal opposition party Progressive Slovakia (PS) is the clear winner of the European elections in Slovakia, winning 27.8% of the vote, according to the official results on Sunday evening. Prime Minister Robert Fico’s left-wing populist party Smer only came second with 24.8% despite large gains compared to the European elections in 2019.
