A derelict school has been deliberately set on fire. Firefighters were called to the small fire at the former St John Fisher Catholic Comprehensive School site, in Ordnance Street, Chatham, just before 3pm yesterday (June 9). Four fire engines attended and crews wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire within 30 minutes. There were no reported injuries and the fire service said the cause was deliberate.
