Police are once again warning car owners not to leave valuables inside following a spate of break-ins. Four vehicles in Bishop’s Stortford were targeted by thieves between September 2-8 with an iPhone, cash and a laptop among the items stolen. Overnight on Monday September 2/3, a car in Bartholomew Road had jackets and a first aid kit stolen from inside. No damage was caused. The same night another vehicle with no sign of a forced entry parked in Thorpe Road had tools and documents taken.
