Liverpool battled to a hard fought 1-1 draw against Manchester City this afternoon. The Reds had to dig deep to get their point. Shorn of a number of regular starters, Liverpool came back from a goal down to keep City at bay. Missing players at both ends of the pitch, the Reds midfield was always going to be key against a full strength Pep Guardiola side. In the end, they came up big.
