(The Center Square) – Infamous serial killer Gary Ridgway has been transferred from the Washington State Penitentiary in Walla Walla to the King County jail in Seattle with no explanation from the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. Ridgway, often referred to as the “Green River Killer,” murdered 48 women in King County between 1982 and 1998. He pled guilty to the charges in 2003 after being arrested in 2001.
